Student Equity and Opportunity will provide an overview of how the restructuring of the special education, gifted and talented and behavior management supports can help them better serve all students. In addition, special education will present their three year strategic plan and how schools needs can be addressed through this plan. Secondary schools will also receive information on basic understandings of special education foundations such as performance data, three strategies to increase achievement through the IEP process, defining specially designed instruction, effective special education structures and the compliance-achievement connections. This session has also been developed in Schoology.
